Toughest aspect about my sport: "Mentally it wears on you. You always have to be mentally strong."

Pre-meet superstition: "I always wear tall, black socks. One says right, and one says left. Once I put them on, I can't take them off."

People would be surprised to know: "I'm kind of an oddball. I do a lot of different clubs you wouldn't expect. Math team, Mastersminds, Technology Student Association, Tech Wars. I played JV tennis for a year."

Next: Signed a letter of intent with Hofstra. He will major in civil engineering.
